What I’m Using and Loving Lately (No Ads, Just Honesty)

(Written by someone who suddenly feels like a real Vancouver girly for doing a favourites blog post)

I wanted to put together a little list of the things I’ve genuinely been loving recently - no ads, no sponsorships, just actual things that have been making my life a tiny bit easier, more comfortable, or just more “me.”

Life has been a lot lately and I’ve been running around nonstop, so everything here has been something I’ve reached for daily without even thinking about it.

Here are my current faves - the wellness things, the cozy things, the practical things, and the “I’m a girl on the move” things.

Supplements That Are Keeping Me Sane

Okay, listen… if you know me personally, PLEASE don’t drag me for this because yes, I have been extremely stressed lately - but these supplements have actually been helping me take the edge off. I’ve been consistent with them for a little while now, and I swear I’ve noticed such a difference in how I feel overall.

I’m not saying they magically fix everything (life would be amazing if it worked like that), but they’ve been a really solid support for me lately.

My current lineup:

  • Omega-3s

  • Magnesium

  • Zinc citrate

Nothing fancy, just things I’ve been taking daily and genuinely liking.

Obviously I’m not a doctor - I'm just a girl and this is just what’s been working for me.

Always check in with a healthcare professional if you’re unsure about starting something new.

Skincare Saving Me From My Hormones

My hormones have been on one lately. BUT these products have been my holy grails for years, and if it weren’t for my skin reacting to literally everything right now, I’d be glowing:

They don’t ship to Canada, so I pick mine up at Shoppers or London Drugs. The results, the cute packaging (always gets me) - obsessed.

And because I’m picky and like to know about ingredients, this app has become my holy grail:

It scans products and gives you a rating + breakdown of ingredients. I use it constantly, especially when I am trying to find new staples - food, skincare, everything.

Gua Sha - My Forever Routine

I’ve used a gua sha forever, and it’s still one of my favourite parts of my skincare routine.

The one I use is stainless steel:

If I’m puffy, if I’m stressed, or if I just need five minutes of peace… This is the move.

The Protein Bars That Have Me in a Full Chokehold

Okay… I was hesitant to share these because I am VERY protective over them. But they’re too good not to share (you can thank me later):

Daryl’s Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Bars

These bars don’t taste like protein.

They’re the perfect amount of sweetness (like me).

They’ve become a long-term love, not just a phase.

And at this point, I’d probably give them my first born child.

Please don’t sell them out.

I’m begging.

Clothes I Keep Reaching For

I’ve been SO on the go lately - work, errands, events, creating, life - so anything comfy, cute, and easy is an automatic “yes.”

These from Uniqlo? Obsessed.

They’re so comfortable, I feel like I’m cheating the system.

Also… can we talk about dad shoes??? I am in my dad era because these New Balance 9060s have been carrying me - literally - from one activity to the next. If you see me sprinting around Vancouver like I’m late to drop my kids off at soccer practice, mind your business.

My Emotional Support Water Bottle

My Yeti and I? Unstoppable. Do I drink enough water out of it? Absolutely not.

But she is there for emotional support and that counts.

Here is the exact one I have:

She’s cute. She’s reliable. She makes me feel seen, safe, and like I have my life together even when I don’t.

And That’s Everything I’ve Been Loving Lately

These aren’t ads.

These aren’t collaborations.

They’re just things that make my life easier, calmer, happier, or less chaotic - and I love sharing what actually works for me.

If you try any of these, let me know.

And if you ruin my protein bar supply… we’ll talk.
